Who are we

The organizational structure of the forum consists of the general assembly of members, the executive committee and the general coordinator, who is elected at the general meeting. The membership of the forum is personal, and it includes the sons and daughters of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries who are interested in development issues, who are committed to paying the annual subscription, and participate in the forum’s meetings. Membership is granted upon an official invitation by the Executive Committee, based on the nomination of the Membership Committee formed by the Executive Committee, and in accordance with the conditions set by the organizational framework.

    Our activity:

The Forum achieves its objectives through the following activities:

Annual Meeting of Members: Members meet in an annual meeting, during which a major topic of special importance and a strategic dimension affecting the future of the region is discussed, in order to create a better understanding of the issue at hand, crystallize a viewpoint on it and put forward recommendations on it. These meetings also address the forum’s organizational and administrative matters by evaluating the forum’s activity, reviewing its workflow, and discussing its program.
Specialized studies: The forum conducts studies on issues of strategic importance and future impact on the development process in the region. These studies are presented in specialized meetings that include specialists from members and others interested in the topic of the symposium, in order to better define the issue raised by the symposium, develop a national vision around it, and explore possible approaches and solutions available to the region. (Until the year 2015, the forum held 35 meetings annually and six specialized meetings.) (The studies of the meetings were published in books numbering twenty books) by different publishing houses.
